Bo Boaz

Like our business itself, Iron Gate co-founder and co-owner Bo Boaz is eclectic, theatrical and joyously unpredictable. Though born in Nashville, his innate gifts for shopping and travel were honed during a childhood spent bouncing between Newfoundland, Montana, Texas and New Orleans’ famed French Quarter – all this back before the American tableau had become the homogenized landscape we see today. He has also lived in Germany, California and New York.

Bo holds degrees in Geography, Psychology and Sociology. Along the way, he has also developed deep appreciation for feng shui, beauty, love, balance and magic, probably deserving honorary degrees in each of those fields as well.

Belgium? Jakarta? Bali? Pakistan? All in a day’s work for Bo Boaz. As a buyer, he has crisscrossed Europe and Asia many times, racking up more than $25 million in purchases throughout his travels. Every Rupee and Euro spent has been offered in pursuit of a single goal – to help those around him transform their homes into oases of tranquility, serenity, happiness and creativity.
